How to gain access
Right of access to public information and reuse of information in the public sector is granted to every natural person – Bulgarian citizen, foreigner or stateless person, as well as legal entities.
Access to public information and reuse of information is granted based on written or oral request.
You can post a request:
- via mail to: 6 Slavyanska St. Ruse 7000;
- in the administrative building of the Agency at 6 Slavyanska St. Ruse; At the request of the applicant, the front desk officer will present them with an application form.
In the receiving room of the EA EMDR administrative building you can go over the information already provided to you by looking at originals or copies in accordance with Art 26, Para. 1, Item 1 of the Access to Public Information Act, in case your application stated this as your preferred form of access.

Your application will undergo review in accordance with regulations and terms outlined in the Access to Public Information Act

In accordance with Ordinance No 1472 dated 29 Nov 2011 by the finance minister, the following regulatory costs for granting public information access are defined depending on carrier, VAT exclusive:
- floppy diskette - single - BGN 0.50 (not provided by the Agency);
- CD - single - BGN 0.50;
- DVD - single - BGN 0.60;
- print-out - single A4 page - BGN 0.12;
- photo copy - single A4 page - BGN 0.09;
- fax - single A4 page - BGN 0.60;
- video tape - single - BGN 3.25 (not provided by the Agency);
- audio tape - single - BGN 1.15 (not provided by the Agency);
- written reference - single A4 page - BGN 1.59.
